I’m thrilled to announce that I have been selected to take part in the International Academy of Ceramics Special Residencies Project, as part of the 52nd IAC Congress in Jingdezhen, China. I have been awarded a fully funded residency at Longquan Wangou Art Centre from May to June this year.
During this residency, I will start working through my next multi-year creative project, Ancestral Echoes. Grounded in illuminating little-known histories of Indo-Caribbean internship, I will be working with video footage and interviews with my Caribbean elders.
